Swedish-born London-based fashion designer on the rise Emma Lundgren graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design and the Royal College of Art.
For her Spring/Summer 2012 collection Emma draws inspiration from the three unique icons in her Scandinavian heritage: the traditional Sami costume, the changeable colour sweep-effects of the Northern Lights and the futuristic Esrange Space centre in Lapland.
Comitted to improve the sustainability of her work propelled Emma to reuse vynil table cloths and cupcake moulds, print digitally and complete her accessories with organic materials such as reused wool and wood. Adding eventually a superb touch of luxury with Northern Lights inspired Swarovski crystals.

Para su colección de Primavera/Verano 2012 Emma toma inspiración de los tres icónos más importantes de su herencia escandinava: el tradicional traje Sami, los colores alucinantes de la aurora boreal y el centro futurista Esrange Space ubicado en Laponia.
Comprometida a mejorar el componente ecológico de esta colección Emma reutilizó manteles de mesa de vinilo y moldes de cupcakes, utilizó la impressión digital y completó sus accessorios con materiales orgánicos como lana y madera recicladas. Para añadir el útimo toque de lujo, Emma añadió cristales Swarovski en los que reflejar y multiplicar los colores de la aurora boreal.
